cask at paisley ... dark black ... soft pine ... soft toffee roast nose... dark malts ... soft roast ... light pinre but not enoug pine hop .. juicy simple ... one to try again

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5

Cask (gravity) @ Paisley Beer Festival 2011. Quite looking forward to this one. It delivers, but a bit light bodied. Brown colour, tan head. Aroma is hoppy and a bit of pine, some toastiness, bit of caramel. Flavour is hoppy, pine. Fairly bitter and slightly dry finish. Very well drinkable.
