cask at paisley ... dark black ... thin tan head ... huge sweet vanilla ... light fruit nose ... light vanilla ... deep fruits ... soft tartness ... rich chocolate malts ... interesting tartness...but damn tasty

Cask (Hawkshead Beer Festival 2010): Literally black, smaller stable off-white foamy layer; milk-chocolate and vanilla - indeed - in the nose, accompanied by a light acidity; light to moderate bitter-sourish flavour, light bodied; fruity and toasty finish, chocolate in the aftertaste. Good.....
