0.375 l bottle from 'Ace Drinks', 2014 vintage. Black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of caramel, cocoa, vanilla, bourbon and some oak. Quite sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of cocoa, licorice, vanilla, lots of bourbon and some oak, followed by a long, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly earthy, a bit warming finish with a touch of oak and lots of bourbon. Medium to full body, almost oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Lovely beer, quite intense, great balance, just totally round. Really good!

375 ml bottle.
Black body, with a small, creamy, dark beige head.
Aroma of bourbon, melting dark chocolate, coconut, cocoa, some soy sauce, some alcohol.
Tastes quite similar, with some more tobacco, booze.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes warm, boozy, astringent, a bit dry, wooden, with bourbon, dark chocolate, some tobacco, slight dark fruits.

Tasty. Heavy and quite boozy, but still well balanced, with the bourbon barell dominant, but well integrated. Lovely, warming sipper.
