Many years ago, a mysterious book was discovered by a group of friends in a Ferndale, MI basement. A translation of its contents revealed the recipe for an ancient beverage using mango juice, honey, and black pepper. What they didn’t realize was that creating the beverage had dire consequences. Bottle. Pale straw color, almost no foam. Aroma: honey, flowers, pepper, a little cologne. Taste: sweet, honey, watery, slightly citrus and mango, fruit, a little pepper, very strange.

Hab nincs, gyönyörű mézszín. Illata mézes, gyümölcsös, borsos. Íze mézes, borsos, édeskés gyümölcs ízzel. A bors miatt kicsit hajaz a gyömbérre. Közepesen testes és szénsavas, picit érezni az alkoholt.

Clear very pale yellow stuff, small aery white head. Aroma: lots of incense, some honey, floral, Indian curry spices, MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet sugary start, honey, spicy, lots of incense. Aftertaste: sweet, spices, honey, more incense. Weird, not my thing.

Tap@ CBC 2016. Hay colored brew with a thin head. Sweet fruits, honey, some spicy notes. Honey sweetness, mild spicy notes, long finish. excellent mead.

Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Very light yellow. Aroma of pepper, rose, jasmine, and lots of mango. Very harmonic and round. Quite powerful and full-bodied for such a low ABV. Impressive!

Bottle from cornelius, shared with jeevan and sundry other neighbours. Pours clear pale yellow with no head. Aromas of black pepper. Taste had the mango. Peppery finish. Nice.

Sample at All In Beer Fest. Looks like white wine, no head. Fruity aroma. Fruity sweet cider taste, no carbonation. Very light and refreshing.
