Cask at The Counting House. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The nose is sweet, digestive biscuits, toasted oats, grain and earth. The taste is sweet, biscuit, booze, grainy, cereal, earth, toast and stewed citrus with a short, grainy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not as much depth as you would want from this sort of beer. So-so.

Hazy amber. Malty- yeasty nose w phenolic accent. Sweet, sort of sugary malts with a hint of bubblegum phenol. A bit unrefined for my tastes.

Cask at The White Lady. Pours light amber with a good tight white head, good lacing. Aromas are subtle, but mostly light caramel malts. Taste has a slight metallic edge, and nothing much else going on, which is surprising for a beer of this strength. Finishes short and thin.

Cask @ Capital Asset, Perth 181012
Amber, dense white thin head, clear, good lacing
Aroma - light caramel malts, very dull nose
Taste - sweet pale caramel malts, some honey, smooth creamy pale malt, booze not well hidden at all, some grain, simple dull flavour
Palate - soft carb, medium body, oily smooth. Finish as main flavour, dull, bitterish bit metallic booze, sweet light grain malt
Overall - At 7% i’d expect a lot more flavour than this...dull
