Bottle from De Hopduvel. Dark brown colour, almost no head. Almost no carbonation. Nose of port, vanilla, bourbon, caramel and chocolate. Sweet and a bit vinous. Boozy. A tad too sweet in my opinion.

(Wild Turkey) Dark brown with creamy head. Bourbon aroma. Flavour is sweet with Bourbon and dark malts. Really smooth and easy to drink. Rather strangely there’s a very slight beefy, gravy-like edge in the background.

Brownish beer with a body of sweet malt. Notes of raisin, dark fruits and of course the delicious bourbon. The beer leaves a warming glow, although the alcohol is quite well hidden in the taste. Very tasty.

Zu süßer Antrunk, der auf der anderen Seite für den Alkoholgehalt gerechtfertigt ist. Süß, nicht ganz rund, definitiv ein Dessertbier. Leicht fruchtig, schwer. 11/12/11/10/11/11

Bottle @ Armin’s palace picked up at De Molen. Pours a murky dark reddish orange appearance with a thin head. A bit goopy caramel, somewhat fruity, a bit herbal/celery, tangy aroma. Syrupy caramel, red fruity, herbal, goopy, a bit boozy whiskey, lightly oxidized flavor. Not the best and kind of disappointing.

18 cl bottle @ olio. Bottle #776. Brewed 12.01.2011, bottled 07.02.2012, BBE 07.02.2037.
Aroma has vinegar, rowanberries, some sugar and hints of caramel. Flavour has berries, caramel, some sugary notes, spices and slightly burning alcohol. A feeling of burning chili also. Interesting.

180ml bottle from Beernavigator
Bottle #776, brewed 12.1.2011, bottled 2.7.2012 - Pours dark brown with no head. Aroma of strong sweet syrupy malty notes, oak, wood, vinegar and alcohol. Taste is messy with strong sweet syrupy notes, alcohol, hints of bourbon, oak and wood. Finish is sticky, sweet, malty and oaky with notes of vanilla, bourbon and alcohol. Slightly too sweet for my taste, feels a bit unbalanced, but still surprisingly not that bad.
