Tap at Murphy’s Law. Slightly hazy pale amber with white head. Sweet malts, oaty, tropical fruit, pineapple, sweaty horse, stinkfoot, cheesiness, light fudge. Medium sweet and light bitter. Appearance is amber, clear, bubbles rising, a huge pillowy white head which leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma- fresh fruit, pineapple, mango hints, hops, undertones of honey malt. Taste- lots of hop bitterness, orange peel, pineapple juice, hop resin, pine, sticky sweet malt then emerges, full and sticky mouthfeel, long bitter finish, clingy and bittersweet. Excellent stuff.

Reilusti ja kestävästi vaahtoava ja runsaasti pitsiä jättävä olut on väriltään samean tumman oranssinen. Tuoksu on trooppisen hedelmäinen, greippinen ja mandariininen, ruohoinen ja havuinen sekä makean karamellinen. Suutuntumaltaan täyteläinen ja pehmeä olut maistuu trooppisen hedelmäiselle, varsinkin mandariinille ja loppupuolella katkeramman greippiselle. Lisäksi maussa selkeää karamellista makeutta, jopa hunajaa. Pitkä greippinen jälkimaku, joka on kuitenkin mukavan pehmeä. Onhan tämä vaan laadukkaimpia ellei jopa laadukkain maistamani ipa. Täyteläinen, mutta mukavasti hiilihappoinen runko. Maussa pehmeä karamellinen pohja, jonka päällä eksoottista hedelmää, havuisuutta ja katkeraa greippisyyttä. Raikas, maukas ja täyteläisen pehmeä.

On tap at Trappistenlokaal ’t Klooster. Hazy orange with a white head. Orange zest, pine resin, flowery hops, honey. Medium bodied, medium to high carbonation and a bitter-sweet aftertaste.

Almost clear pale amber colour, good frothy off-white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Fruity aroma, pale malts, lemon, grapefruit, light caramel, yeast. Mellow mouthfeel, taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity, toffee, pine. Bittersweet aftertaste, piney, light spicy notes, ends dry bitter and a bit chalky. Amber, haz body, with a medium, creamy, off-white head.
Aroma of citrus, orange, passion fruit, grass, biscuit.
Tastes of grapefruit, grass, some herbs, orange, some tropical fruits, some earthy pine, biscuit.
Medium, quite creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, medium dry, zesty, herbal, grassy, piney, slightly alcoholic.
Very nice. Stronger, bitter-herbal and with a quite full malt body. I prefer crisper IPAs less heavy and aggressive, so this isn’t among my favourite ones, but still really enjoyable.

Hazy orange amber, stable offwhite froth. Fruity aroma, grapefruit and pine, notes of caramel malt. Strong bitter flavour, more sweet grapefruit, piney bitterness and caramel. Creamy mouthfeel with solid bitter bite. Carbonation is barely right to balance the sweet stickyness.
