Bottle 50 cl. Golden-orange with good white foam. Fresh hop aroma: pine rather spicy, floral, a little citrus and fruit. Taste: slightly sweet, good malt body, honey, and peasant hop bitterness, pine and fruits. Great IPA.

Bottle from Hop Leaf at home. Hazy orange copper pour, minimal head. Aroma is a bit plasticky hops. Some resin. Taste is very piney bitter hoppiness, but also more malty than expected. More like the Mikkeller/European-style IPA, but hops are pine/resin more than floral/fruity. Slightly rich, smooth palate. Lasting bitterness and some booziness. A big IPA, almost DIPA. Quite good IPA. Would get again.

Orange color with medium head. Tropical Fruits, citrusy and resinous. Taste is fruity and sweet-bitter, decent bitter finish. Rather low carbonation. A nice reference-style West Coast IPA.

At a tasting, thanks Gunnar, dense frothy head with some lacing, quite cloudy orange colour, aroma of pine and wood with some grapefruit, citrusy herbal flavour with a malty backbone, medium mellow flowery bitterness, light fruity sourness complementing, very nicely balanced. Good classic IPA.

BOTTLE 50CL.

Look: hazy golden with yeast sediment, off white creamy to frothy head.
Aroma: citrus hops, oranges, gooseberry, some dank, some sweetness in the background.
Taste: citrus and slightly pungent hop bitterness, a bit salty?, clean malty sweetness.

500ml bottle from Hopology, Nottingham. Hazy deep amber colour with a lasting foamy head. Lots of hops in the aroma. And a flavour of citrus hops, that lingers.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy orange. Thin, sticky, white head. Light, fusty, in the bin, grapefruit rind. Malt is fusty, too. Taste is light, toffee sweet. Light bitter. Lovely, oily, juicy palate. Finishes pithy bitter, with more of the fust, and a light dryness. Very nice, although I could fancy more chewy sweetness.
