Bottle: Pours nearly clear, yellow gold with a thin white head. Lemony grain, grassy aroma. Taste is slightly metallic, lemon-rind, grain..... Vegetal notes. Comes across a little odd-tasting, overall.

2 oz. sample at the brewery. Clear gold color. Doesn’t smell like much, light hints of pale malt. Really searching.... Nope that is it.
Flavor is weak hints of pale malt, grain and corn husk. Thin watery body with a slight honey hints. Not terrible but really just not much here.

bottle - Pours clear gold with a white head. It smells grainy and kind of bready. The flavor is light and frankly pretty bland. It’s light bodied and has maybe a slight bitterness in the finish. Utterly forgettable.

Magic Hat Brewery: Pours a pale gold with a white head. Aroma is almost of nothing, but there is a whiff of a hop here and there, along with a nice malty backbone. Taste is pretty good, but as could be imagined, nothing complex. Grassy kind of hops and a thin malt backbone. This would make for a good summer beer. Unfortunately, I had it in winter, although today was hella warm. Oh well.

12 ounce bottle from the summer variety pack. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized fizzy white head. Below average head retention and lacing. Aroma of grassy hops and corn. The taste is grainy and grassy with a touch of sweet corn in the finish. Thin-medium bodied.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a one centimetre tall, fast-dying slightly off white head - nothing impressive looking at all. Aroma of lemons, light malt, cardboard, herbal funky hops and a touch of a foreign yeast strain. Light-bodied; Funky cardboardie, malty flavour with a light citrus and lemon flavour with a very slight amount of stale or very low alpha acid hops coming through at the end. Aftertaste isn’t complex and mainly shows dry hops and a touch of cardboard/malt. Overall, a pretty poor beer, that was expected from this brewery. Not really worth sampling unless you want to try all their subpar products. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Wegman’s in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on 22-July-2011 sampled at home in Washington on 28-July-2011.

Nice clean almost pilsner aroma. Looks like a pale lager. Good initial co2 , but it fades fast. Taste has a bit of a citrus or lemon feel to it. Sharp bitterness begins to grow on the palte, on the sides of the tongue but it never gets over the top. Yes, perhaps a tad of bandaid in there. perhaps some soap er sumthin. Rather light for 5%.
