Cask from Growler Beers. Dark brown body with no head. Mild aroma of liqourice, plum and wood. Flavour of milk chocolate, dark fruits, coffee and roasted malt. Thin body with a flat, slightly oily mouthfeel. A bit thin but a reasonably tasty beer.

On cask @ Berts Bar, Edinburgh. It pours somewhere between ruby and chestnut and there is a thin but agreeable looking head. The nose is largely of toffee and grapes. The taste has toffee, raisins and some chocolate. The palate has a medium sized structure with an average texture in the middle section and the finish is clean. Overall, a lovely beer !
