Brewed to complement food, we use the lightest malts and Tettnang hops to achieve the unique pale golden colour, crisp taste and dry finish. This unique blend makes Hop the ideal accompaniment to spicy dishes, seafood and poultry. The Tettnang hops, imported from Washington State and Oregon, give the beer its soft melon aroma and complete the dry finish.

Has a nice hoppy aroma to it, though a little sweetness and alcohol that don’t seem too promising. Looks okay I guess, though the incredibly clear look to it isn’t great, nor is the head. Has a nice malty Belgian taste to it, some fruitiness, but not overpowering. Interesting beer but not a particularily great one.

750ml Bottle ( Drink, Tallinn) - Dark golden in colour. Hoppy, but slightly sterile aroma with some hints of grapefruit, tea and malt. Fruity and hoppy taste which unfortunately has some sterile elements. Not a bad attempt, but they could do much better with this.

Bottle 0,75l bought at Tesco Kensington Feb. 08. Golden colored. A large creamy head settling in a couple of minutes - but never died. Strong sweet hoppy aroma. Soft mouthfeel. Subtle flavor of sweet fruits. Dry fruity aftertaste with some bitterness. KI=6

Incredibly unattractive bottle all the way: Anyway, it pours clear gold with a off white head. Aroma has a sweet fruityness. The body is light watery & taste is basically dull & bland! No personality. Dont try this at home!

75cl bottle: Golden colour, white head fades quickly leaving a lightly carbonated flatish beer. Grassy aroma with a touch of citrus, refreshingly bitter taste, but rather thin and watery. Pretencious.

66cl bottle from Franglais, Calais. I just couldn’t put myself out enough to buy this in England where it would have been more expensive. So on my last visit to Calais, I popped it into the trolley, not expecting any great shakes. It is a pale gold colour with a thick white head. Peppery hop and lemon citrus aroma. Bit of herb. Smooth in mouth, like lemon sorbet and then a good hop finish. Best drunk chilled I feel, a bit like a lager. This for me is the nicest Greene King beer that I’ve had. Very refreshing on a Sunday afternoon of 30 degrees plus. Well balanced. It won over my indifference. Not sure why you would have it with food though any more than any other beer.

750ml bottle. Light, golden colour. Aroma is caramel with a gentle touch of hops. Not much flavours, quite sweet with a hint of hop. Very smooth but ending up as another boring industrial beer.

Bottle. Not much head with shortish duration. Golden colored. Taste is kinda like a lager. Low carbonation.
