Served in a can, it has a reddish color with a hop/malt balance. Somehow the two seem to be fighting it out rather than working on harmony though.

355ml can [courtesy of Grumbo - mammothanks Graham!]. Fantastic, minimally cloudy, deep ruby colour wih average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Ephemeral, fruity, grassy, minimally earthy, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, notes of red berries; a more bready malty basis remains after a while. Taste is dry, grassy, minimally fruity hoppy, minimally bready, earthy malty, diluted hints of red berries, minimally chalky overtones. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Nice but sadly rather fugacious aroma - decent.

14/5/2023. Draft at Palm Bay Bistro, Malakal Island, Koror, Palau. Pours deep amber/brown with a small frothy off-white head. Good looking beer. Aroma is hoppy, malty, light roasted, mild chocolate, hint of coffee, caramel, biscuit. dark fruits. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Nicely done amber. Also 14/5/2023 at Elilai Seaside Dining. Enjoy this more than many ambers, being a bit more hoppy.

Can sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks Stas. Hazy amber, white head. Minerals, malt, caramel, yeast, metal, light vegetal note, sweetish, bitter finish, kinda metallic, quite light-bodied.

Can, pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is perfumey, with phenolic notes and bready notes. Flavour is off-putting, with toasted nuts and bready notes. Some off-notes as well, in the way of perfume and phenols. Not good.

Can shared on 7/30/16, brought back by a friend. Big surprises here as it’s not a pale lager, and wasn’t too bad. A bit dry, but focused squarely on the malts. Some caramel, mildly sweet, Nice surprise from the Pacific.
