Draught at Diggers (Athletic Arms). Pours golden with gentle bubbles and a decent head. The nose has massive grapefruit pith and pine. The taste has riper grapefruit than the nose and there is a zingy grapefruit ending. The palate is light to medium bodied, it has a creamy texture and a very zingy finish. Overall, a lovely beer that is slightly too drying for me to have more than two, but good all the same. Mind you, this is no lager - it’s somewhere in the golden ale or IPA spectrum.

cask in abotsford ... crisp golden yellow ... smalll creamy white head ... soft big citrus hop nose ... sweet lemon citrus front ... followed with a woody bitterness ... big juicy hop ... hint of burnt malts ... crisp clean and quite dry
