Bottled at RBESG-06, GTN. Hazy, yellow-orange, with a white head. Fruity, yeasty and mouldy aroma with some sour notes. The flavor is sweet and fruity, with lemon, apples, sugar, spices and alcohol. Alcohol, spice and bitterness in the finish. Really lovely, but too strong now. Should be aged a while. (060826)

Bottled. Hazy golden, brief head. Fantastic arousing aroma of muscat grapes and wood. Sweet with some caramel undeneath a layer of wood and grapes. Reminiscent of a much sweeter Cantillon Reed Gueuze Muscat, but withbigger bolder flavours. The same fantastic flavours as in the 2000, still too sweet - perhaps this one more so than the 2000, but yet one of the very best beers I know.

[At RBESG 2006] A hazy orange beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of alcohol and spice - the most dominant spices being cinnamon and cloves. The flavor is sweet combined with a slight acidity, and with lots of spices, cloves and peber, and De Dolle yeast and alcohol. The alcohol burns in the throat. A good beer - but my guess is that it will improve in years to come.

Bottled. Hazy pale nutbrown colour, white small head. Aroma is yeast with strong citric and sour fruits. Flavour is sour fruits along with some spices, plum and mild honey. A bit alcohol is present also, but fits the whole well. Will do with aging.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy amber golden with a small, white head. Lightly tart, citrusy nose with a whiff of yeast. Fairly full body with sweet, malty accents. A honeyish character and some indefinable spices. Exciting all right at the mo, but will probably develop a lot with aging. 260806

Bottled@RBESG’06. Hazy orange, small white head. Fruity, slightly sour aroma, like from sea buckthorn. Also notes of leather. Carbonated, fruity, champagne-like. Taste of mango and apricot. Aftertaste is fruity and a bit alcoholic. Good stuff.

(Sampled from bottle, thanks Marsiblursi) Shady orange color, white head. Sour, vineous, sweet berry, cheese and alcohol scent. Very big mouthfeel. Warming alcohol feeling very apparent! Belgian ale taste, mixed with berries, acid and alcohol.

Golden-orange beer, diminishing yellowish head, leaving some lace. Sourish nose with a sweetish background, spiced as with ginger, sucade or preserved ginger, accacia blossom. Dry-sweetish and spicey taste, again sucade-like taste (preserved orange peel), some preserved ginger, flowing to a palate that is absolutely PERFECT. This is an absolute top in balance. Flavours of preserved fruit, spices, wood, aromas for bathroom products, more spices for new wave ingredients and (sorry) sunflower seeds. Medium bodied, oily in texture. Alcohol is hidden qua taste, but after half a bottle, I definitely got a warm feeling all over... Superb beer; The nose is strrange - but the balance is amongst the best ever had - what a perfect beer!
