Bottle at home from Beers of Belgium as the second of the flight of three. A typical Belgian tripel, but one that is exceptionally well made and refined. Rich and quite sweet with a balanced level of carbonation. It drinks well, but really doesn't do that much for me at all.

330ml bottle from RusBeerShop in Moscow. Pours hazy dark brown with a medium-sized beige head. Aroma is dried fruit, caramel, malt, some spice. Taste is medium sweet, brown sugar, yeast, toffee, dark fruits, prunes, followed by light bitterness.

Pours a hazy chestnut brown colour with a small beige coloured head. Aroma is a grainy malt, dried fruit and spice and slightly yeasty. A sweet malty taste, a lot of dark fruit; raisins and prunes, caramel notes and a woody spiciness with some alcohol and bitterness in the finish.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Dark brown with big beige head. Light roast, figs, caramel, toffee, dry cocoa, raisins, brown sugar, cookies that were in the oven too long, light oxidized notes, red wine, brown bread, dried plums and apple. Quite fruity in a dried and soft oxidized way. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Almost full bodied with quite some carbonation. Quite nice!
