Bottle shared with Viลกnja 666 and Pilot Goran at a Mega Tasting, October 12th 2017. Amber to brown colour, small to medium head. Malty, dried fruit and spices. Sweet, light dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate finish. Putting this one in the middle of the Mega Tasting might not give it the attention it deserves as a classic.

14-10-18 // 330ml bottle shared at a tasting with the Rhein-Main crew. Unclear brownish. Beige head. Great Dubbel nose. Very Belgian taste. Round and balanced malt sweetness. Raisin. Great.

2016. Dark brown/bronze color, yellowish foam. Strong and pleasant aroma: esters, toffee, caramel, dried fruits, sweetness. Taste: sweet, caramel, toffee, malt, port, strong, but perfectly balanced, very good.

Dark brown with little beige head. Aroma is date and plums christmas heavy melasses vanilla and cinnamon. Taste is sweet melasses with plums and cinnamon without the usual heaviness. Pretty balanced. Lots of small bubbled carbonation. Complex and nice.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 12-12-2016) im 2018-05 getrunken. Ein typisches aber einfaches Dubbel mit recht leichten Charakter. Definitiv nichts besonderes.

0,33l bottle at home shared by 3. brown hazy color, medium big off white head. smells caramel, earthy, honey, ripe fruits, doughy. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, tobacco, caramel, ripe fruits, nutty, marzipan, grassy, doughy. finishes lightly dry with notes of ripe fruits, peppery notes and some grassy notes. decent one overall, balance is not totally great, some harsh grassy notes and some tobacco & dougy notes that are not totally my thing. overall nice but expected a bit more. 7, 4, 7, 3, 13
