Bottle at home. Brune cola color with a very tick and frothy ivory-brown foam. Nose: burnt barley, very grassy hoppy aroma, leather. Mouth: very roasty malty taste, bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Color: Clear reddish brown, beige head. Aroma: Very malty, hints of caramel. Taste: Again very malty, toast, hints of raisins. Spices and bit earthy. Hints of nuts and yeast. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Hoppy background. Quite long lasting bittery and dry-ish finish. Nice.

Pours reddish brown with a creme colored head. Aroma of nuts and spice. Taste has toasted malt, more spice, fairly intense earthen notes. Palate has much of the same. Quite nice.

0,33 l bottle. Pours hazy orange brown with big, lasting tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, prunes, toasted malts, bread, slightly spicy and yeast, some caramel, alcohol. Taste is medium sweet, toasted malt, caramel, medium bitter. Body is full, carbonation average. Finish is long, starts fruity, as fruitiness fades toasted malt, spicy bitterness kicks in and lasts for a while. A bit of alcohol warmth too.

Bottle pour from trade with Johnnnniee--thanks for the opportunity, John! It's a clear amber with tons of sparkle, finger-plus width tan head with excellent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong, rich earthy and caramel malt--like brown bread. Taste is strong molasses/brown bread, late dark fruit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, the benchmark for the style with quality all around.
