Brewed for the 5 year anniversary of BeerTemple, Amsterdam. American North-West double IPA 8% abv, 75ebu, 15ebc with 5 hops for each year BeerTemple: simcoe, chinook, citra, amarillo & columbus.

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the BeerTemple, we asked Robbert Uyleman of Brewery ’t Uiltje to make an IPA with us for this special occasion! Dry-hopped to the bone, and as fresh as it can be! Straight from the tank into the kegs, transported with a refrigerated truck and into our own fridge, this IPA will never lose his bitter coolness before you start drinking...

Pours somewhat hazy yellow amber with a medium white head. Aromas of tropical fruits, citrus, some hops. Taste is pretty tropical but very malty aswell. Not what I expected! Pretty strong hops and some piney notes.

Draught @ Arendsnest Aroma has fruity hops, fruit juice and pineapples. Flavour has grapefruity hops, fruit juice, minerals and some caramel. A BrewDog-like DIPA. Tasty.

Tap @ Borefts. Golden color. Melon and grassy hops in the aroma. Firm grassy citric hopbitter flavor. Hints of plastic, melon and citrus. Almost aggressive hops, but quite likeable.

330ml can. Orange with a slight haze, off-white head. Aroma is resinous, piney, orange. Taste is the same, very resinous and piney, citrus, orange, grapefruit, malts, caramel, quite bitter. Medium body. Pretty decent DIPA.

On tap at Arendsnet in Amsterdam. Juicy vivid orange color with a white foam leaving drafts on the glass. Nose: resin and tropical. Mouth: a bit sweet tropical, resinous well-balanced finish.

Tap @ Highlanders, Aarhus. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - fruity and citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 020419

Draught @ Highlanders Bar, Aarhus. Pours clear golden with an offwhite head, light lacings. Aroma of malt, fruity hops, grapes, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is light bitter, malt, little caramel, fruit, citrus, grapefruit, little pine. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, dry and light bitter finish. 020419
