Brewed for the 5 year anniversary of BeerTemple, Amsterdam. American North-West double IPA 8% abv, 75ebu, 15ebc with 5 hops for each year BeerTemple: simcoe, chinook, citra, amarillo & columbus.

The Big Fat 5 is the housebeer for the BeerTemple but also available at the other Morebeer Bars; Proeflokaal Arendsnest, 'cause BEER loves FOOD and Craft & Draft.

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the BeerTemple, we asked Robbert Uyleman of Brewery ’t Uiltje to make an IPA with us for this special occasion! Dry-hopped to the bone, and as fresh as it can be! Straight from the tank into the kegs, transported with a refrigerated truck and into our own fridge, this IPA will never lose his bitter coolness before you start drinking...

Tap at Arendsnest. Unfiltered amber-orange body. Oily, resinous brewpub of 2006 quality. Not that impressive, and even less impressive that the bartender said it was his favorite IPA on. Drinkable, but sort of amateur. Unimpressive, bland, antiquated flavors...waste of good hops.

On tap at Beer Temple. Amsterdam on 16th March 2017. Crystal clear gold with thick off-white foam. A grassy hop aroma. Exquisitely hoppy in-mouth with touches of smoke, grass and citrus. Lush hoppiness in finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a fair deal of body.

Oranjebruin ier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en heel licht zoet met iets van ananas en mango. Heel fijn bier met de juiste bitterheid.
