Hazy deep amber with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and vegs. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, sour berries and caramel notes. Finished dry.

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a deep golden orange glare. Fizzy off-white head. Aroma is roasted malty, overripe fruity and slight spiced. Sweet caramelish flavoured, mild dryness from the spices. Somewhat honey herbal. Nutty. Lingering fruity, spiced and caramelish to breadish into a smooth finish.

in liquid form RBESG 2010 Rome... deep brown ... thin white head ... light soft french mustard ... little toffee malt nose ... light tart sourness up front ... sweet toffee ... little woody...

Bottled. A hazy brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of vinegar, brown sugar, and fruit - too much vinegar for my liking. The flavor is sweet and sour, the latter drawing the mouthwater, with notes of brettanomyces, lacto, wood, and caramel, leading to a dry and tart finish. It burns slightly in the throat.

Bottle 75 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours a hazy brown with an orange hue and an off-white head. Tart, fruity nose and a little overripe fruit. Medium body, there’s a distinct tartness in there - lactic acid. This is clearly infected, but still drinkable. 030610
