Cask @ Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are caramel, roast malt, chocolate, coffee and hops. Sweet finish.

Cask @ Regal Moon, Rochdale. More of a dark reddish-brown in colour with a small head. Has a high sweetness which tastes more berry heavy than honey, but there’s lots of sugary flavours in there anyhow. A touch thin.

cask at cloisters ... black ... thin tan head ...mead and toffee nose .... sweet honey (mead) and roast malts ... little toffee ... light dry hop linger ... odd how much mead like character ... not really workin ... 3.2 tk2 was ok but really i want more from a porter 3.2

Cask at Ealing beer festival. Deep red/brown pour with a smallish head. Malty aroma. Tastes of dark fruit, honey, hint of coffee. Quite pleasant.

March 2008 Soft black porter with plenty of malt offset by well balanced rich honey. Nicely joined up.

Cask @ The Angel, Manchester M4. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small creamy head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and honey aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with hints of honey. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Black with a bright reddish hue when held to the light, and a trace of cream head; light aroma of roasted malt; fruity, dry and rather thin; some coffee and sweetness in teh finish, but no trace of honey.
