Draught sample, very little head, served a bit too warm, clear red colour, aroma of cherries, pits and a whiff of spice, sweet cherry fruitiness and a very light tartness and something coarse, maybee from the pits, sweet fruity candy aftertaste, Another industrial artificial tasting fruit lambic.

18/07/2011 25 cl bottle @ home - BB: 25/06/11 (2011-340)

Little cloudy red to copper red beer, small white head, unstable and little adhesive. Aroma: red fruits, raspberries, yoghurt with fruits. MF: light carbon, light to medium body. Taste: sweet red fruits, bit of dairy (yoghurt or fresh cheese). Aftertaste: more sweetness and a little bitter.

Can 33 cl. Deep red with a large foamy head. The aroma and taste are both lots of cherries, very sour ending. Not my favorite style...

Red color. Pretty thick white head which lasts quite a while. Smell sweet and a little sour. Taste is mainly sweet, little hints of red fruit, little sourness. Not the worst kriek I’ve ever had.

The new bottle now reads "classique", which I thought was a good reason to taste again. There is nothing classical about it though, still the overly sweet, cherry juice kind of beer.
Too sweet. Cherry juice aroma. Flavour sweet, slight sour notes. Lots of cherry juice. In my humble opinion this beer has only one forte, and that is that it is drinkable for and liked by those who don’t like beer or lambic -yet. I know quite a few beer lovers in Belgium and the Netherlands whose first beers ever were Belle-Vue Kriek.

Bottled from Presporska pivoteka. Red color with pink small head. Aroma, cherry, little bit artificial. Taste, again cherry, like lemonade. Nothing special.

bottle@bar: artificial red with white head, mass production Kriek, very sweet tasting of cherry juice with a hint of syrup, no hops, malt, yeast or tart/funk, sweet cherry juice/syrup overall, no sour or acidity
