Camerons Brewery are pleased to announce details of its World Cup themed guest cask ale. Arthur Wharton Ale, 4.0% ABV, has been brewed to celebrate the life of Arthur Wharton, a forgotten North East legend who was the world’s first black professional footballer and also the world’s first 100 yard record holder. Arthur played for many clubs including Newcastle, Darlington, Preston and Sheffield United. The beer has a pale straw colour and a fruity, spicy and floral aroma, giving it a light and refreshing taste. Arthur Wharton Ale is the perfect beer to drink sensibly during the FIFA World Cup finals.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma is biscuit and citrus. Flavour is light malted, biscuit, bit of citric hops, hint of cooked vegetables. Light bodied. Not too well.
