Rusty-beige head, jet-black beer. Mild roast nose, sweetish-sourish, liquorice. Roast and liquorice also dominating the flavour, less stout acidity here. Medium bodied at least. Very good, if very classical Porter.

A deep dark porter with a thick frothy lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light caramel notes, light nutty notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, light licorice, very nice. Bottle at Festibière de Gatineau hiver 2019.

The Aromas are cocoa roast molasses dark malt, some licorice. Flavors or lake news sweeter up front smooth and slightly bitter in the Finish roast comes out more. Great body and finish. Very good drinking beer. I was in Tallinn Estonia some years ago and it was a great trip really cool place and people. Except for the Russian cops those guys were dicks.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Andover Classic Wines. Appearance is virtually opaque black--faint dark brown/mahogany with light source directly behind--with trace sparkle at edge of the glass, 1/2-finger width light brown head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is rich, bittersweet roasted malt with hints of chocolate and coffee. Taste is sweet over bitter roasted malt, earth, sweet chocolate middle, fruit, late roasted coffee bitter. Palate is medium bodied, thick, smooth texture, light alcohol, lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, this has truly outstanding flavor. Other aspects are good, it's slightly overcarbonated, but taste is really outstanding.
