33 cl bottle poured into a Snifter. Near black with a thin tanned head. Sweet aroma with toasted malts, coffee, chocolate, bread, herbal hoppy notes. Taste is bitter-roasted. Medium to full body. Lasting drying roasted finish with lots of dark malts. Excellent Porter, if you're in to the roasted stuff.

Tap at Second Draft after Junk Bay hike. Opaque black-brown pour with dark tan head. Aroma is sweet bright coffee, chocolate, some treacle. Taste is bright cola and brown sugar sweetness with deep toasty warm bitterness. Manages to be big and punchy without cloying sweetness or sharp dried fruit tang or some beers like this. Palate is slightly thick and frothy but carbonation keeps it drinkable. Smooth slight nutty finish. Very nice porter.
