Bière pression bue au BerThom. Robe noire opaque, fin col de mousse sur 1mm, couleur café. Nez sur le malt torréfié, cacao, olive noire. Bouche à l'amertume moyenne, cacao, café, caramel, notes de résine et de réglisse. Corps dense, belle longueur, bonne carbo, bière dessert. Excellente bière ! (M)

Ein stockdunkles Porterbier, das schon sehr imperial kommt und das sich von allen aromatisierten Porter davon abhebt dass es einen intensiven, aber auch feinen Geschmack nach Milchschokolade hat. Gepaart mit den leichten Röstaromen ergibt sich ein faszinerendes Geschmackserlebnis, das seinesgleichen sucht. Ein Bier, das mir einfach Freude machte -besonders als es warm wurde. Backlog January 2019. Black body under a fine, dense brown head. Nice aroma of dark malt, cocoa and dark chocolate. Taste is sweet, smooth dark malt, lots of chocolate and balanced bitterness. Fine body and pleasant, long lasting aftertaste. Sweet, tasty and nice.

330 ml bottle. Murky dark brown to black, fluffy head. Roasted burnt malt, ashes, liquorice, burnt sugar, toffee, earthy notes, cocoa, dark chocolate. Dry bitterness, slightly sweet. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry bitter roasty malty finish. Really smooth, balanced and very drinkable. Alcohol well hidden, drinks like 5.5 abv. Great stuff!

Dark beer, thin light brown head. Malty smell.withoads.of chocolate too. Tastes of really toasty malt, cocoa, some hops as well. The toastiness and chocolate balance each other well. A straightforward taste but really nice, rich and smooth.
