Inspired by an old Celtic word for Beer, “Curmi/Cuirim”, this delightfully refreshing wheat beer echoes the Celtic heritage of the region where it is brewed today. Curim has a higher hop rate than the mainstream wheat beers which leaves a slight tart residue, enough to balance the delicate fruity flavours of peach, banana and plum.

Bottle via a friend via a friend! Poured a clear light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, light hop, light citrus, light caramel, funky barnyard. The flavour is light bitter with a light earthy mineral, hop bitter palate and short bitter finish. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle at home. The colour is clear straw with a small, off-white head that fades fast. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and DMS. The flavour is similar and is pretty light. Has a slick and watery mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A light and a bit strange ale.

Bottle. Aroma roasted malt. I am now oficially brainfucked. Clear golden colour. Taste is sulfury and again hints of roasted malt. Weird. At least it is drinkable. Are there drugs in this beer, or what?

Golden in the glass with a nice white head. The nose is smooth and fruity. The beer starts easy to drink with a dry and light malt body. Smooth and fruity. The mainpart is very dry with a malty Ale-body. Smooth, but a bit light. The aftertaste is refreshing, smooth-mild, a bit dusty and slightly Ale-bitter.
Interesting brew. --> 12/11/11/11

500 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 4.3%. Clear golden colour,moderate to low head. Weak floral hops in the aroma, a hint of honey. The flavour has some citussy hops, and is quite refreshing (yes, I was thirsty), but otherwise rather bland and boring.
