cask in the Market Porter ...Light copper ... thin white head ... smokey light malt with hint of vinegarnose ... light sweet fruity toffee malt

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 8/07/09. Deep amber with a moderate, lacy off-white head. Savoury malt aroma with plenty of nuttiness, cereals and some earthiness. Flavour was similar, with a cereal edge, a slightly vegetal background and a big, long bitter finish. A pleasant change.
