Filou is a strong blonde beer that is re-fermented in the bottle. Filou is brewed with Belgian and Czech aromatic hops. Therefore this blonde beer offers mild fruitiness and subtle hop bitterness. The result is a strong blonde beer that can be quite naughty, but always without bad intentions. A friendly beer for everyone!

Pour is a crystal clear golden with a large and loud white head. Aroma is a big wet dough pils malt with a flowery hop. Flavor is more of the flowery, spicy and bitter hop with more pils bread malt. This leaves a little white pepper spice on the tongue and is carbonated for days. This beer does not have the greatest rating on here but I found this to be quite flavorful and spot on for the style.

Flesje thuis, gekocht bij de G&G. Bleke gele kleur, weinig schuim. Ook bij dit blond bier, gezien de 8,5%, een wat flauwe smaak.

Flesje tijdens feest van 90-jarige. Licht troebel, goudgeel bier. Fruitig aroma. Smaak is licht hoppig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Bouteille: Golden, almost clear, mid-sized lacy off-white head; some cooked vegetables detectable in the sweetish grainy and fruity-yeasty nose; moderate sweet taste with a slight bitterness, relatively light bodied for a beer of 8.5, not too soft; slightly lingering fruity-yeasty finish with a mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Drinkable, but no glory...

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear gold amber colour lasting white head. Some ester some salt and vinegar crisps light cereal and light vegetable. Some hop sting on the finish. Itβs kinda ok but nit a great Belgian ale. A bit plain. No great flavour or personality.
