Een combinatie van een Helles Weizenbock en een rauchbier. Hierdoor ontstaat een mild fruitig bier met weizenelementen als banaan en kruidnagel en spekachtige rooktonen. Te vergelijken met fruit van de BBQ. De rooksmaak komt van de mout uit Duitsland die niet met hete lucht wordt geëest, maar met rook van beukenhout.
Naam
Jopen Witte Rook is het eerste officiële brouwsel (na het testbrouwsel Schwarze Hell) gebrouwen in de Jopenkerk Haarlem. Het eerste brouwsel van het nieuwe jaar is standaard Witte Rook. De naam verwijst naar de keuze van een nieuwe Paus. Als deze gekozen is, komt er witte rook uit de schoorsteen van het Vaticaan.

Pours a hazy dark orange. Aroma consist mostly of smoke and some wheats, with an aftertaste reminiscent of smoked bacon. Unfortunately I found this one ruined by too much malty sweetness.

Tap at 6th Noord-Holland Bierfestival, Alkmaar: Hazy yellow coloured brew with an intense smokey start that will faint fast away. The taste is kinda fruity and the finish kind a bitter with some smoke.

Tap at Arendsnest, 6th July 22. Pours clearish with a frothy soft head. Aroma is light smoke. Taste is soft, light, some smoke and malts. Tasty

*rating overgezet 2016* Fles thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een oranje achtig bier met een dun laagje schuim. Het heeft een rokerige geur met tonen van ham. De smaak is tarwe achtig en gerookt met een wat wrange afdronk.

21 June 2021. At Jopenkerk, Haarlem. Shared with the lovely Anke. Tap. Hazy yellow, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of extinguished match, cooked ham, bacon, smoked wheat, toasted white bread, vague dish water when warming up. Taste has sweetish banana, plum & cooked apple, smoked wheat, touch of umami ham with solid malty undercurrent. Grassy hoppy finish, wheaty, yellow fruit & smoke. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Yeah, not bad, needs more 'oomph'.

Lõhnab korraliku nisuka järgi koos väikse suitsuga. Maitseb võrdlemisi magusalt ja puuviljaselt, väikese hapuka noodiga ja õrna suitsuga. On tap at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam on 17th March 2018. Hazy gold with shallow, lasting white foam and no lacing. Smoky aroma with biscuit malt. Citrus, woodsmoke and nuttiness in-mouth. Tangy citrus and smokiness in finish. Light body and mouthfeel.
