Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, bourbon, floweers, and honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, bourbon, roasted malt, chocolate, flowers, and honey, leading to a dry roasted finish, where the flowery and chocolaty note lingers.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small to medium tan head. Aroma of raw sugar, coffee, caramel, honey, red berries, chocolate and toffee. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of raw sugar, syrup, toffee and caramel. Medium to full bodied with low carbonation. Nice stuff.

Warming alcohol. Spritzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Chocolate aftertaste.Still can’t feel any honey in there. Also could use some aging to loose up on that intense alcohol.6/4/6/3/12=3.1
