330 mml bottle tasted on 02/08/2014. Hazy golden orange colour with a foamy white head. Aroma of malts, sugar, candy and citrus. Intense flavour with citrus, vainilla, clove and some caramel. Aftertaste is very intense too. Medium carbonation and Medium to high body. The presence of alcohol is notable but balanced. Next one please!

Golden with white head. Big spices at first with nutmeg, cloves, corainder. Some orange peel, unripe fruit, and honey. Nice sweet full maltiness, going into bitter finish where still a bit of sweetness shines through. Medium to full bodied. Nice tripel.

330 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgaard. BB date 09.08.13. ABV is 9%. Hazy deep golden to pale brown colour, moderate white head. Sweetish and spicy aroma, typical of belgian ale yeast - but also some "unfresh" hints, which may or may not be caused by aging. Quite refreshing flavour for a 9% beer, not as sweet as many other tripels, spicy and malty notes, hints of brown kandij sugar, despite the beer apparently being "Reinheitsgebot". Decent hops in the finish.

Bottle at the Jopenkerk, Haarlem. Poured a cloudy orange amber with a thin bubbly white head. The aroma is rich caramel and fruit. The flavour is medium to strong bitter, with yeast, liqourice and caramel on the super smooth palate. Considering the ABV, its very well balanced and the alcohol didn’t dominate.
