Jopen heeft haar eigen drie-eenheid; de drie brouwgranen die al sinds de middeleeuwen in Haarlem worden gebruikt: gerst, haver en tarwe.Vol en krachtig van smaak met kruidige tonen en een hopbittere nasmaak.

Bottle shared. Pours hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma of yeast, caramel, grain, alcohol, a touch of fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from Salling, Aarhus. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is malty, citrus, spicy and yeasty. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 090413

330ml Bottle (Thanks Benzai) - Amber with a foamy head. Grainy and malty aroma with notes of sultanas and dried apricot detected. Grainy, malty and slightly sweet taste with notes of yeast, dried apricot and biscuity malt.

22/VIII/2012 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 6/I/13 (2012-960) Thanks to Tinus for the bottle!

Clear yellow beer, small aery white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: quite some honey (old beer?), sweet, sugary, some overripe fruits, canned peaches. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet start, spices, herbal bitterness, dry and dusty, some marzipan, honey, dried aprictos, sweet ripe fruits. Aftertaste: bitter touch, spices, orange peel, bit peppery, warming alcohol, some citrus, hop bitterness.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter nice finish. Some fruity notes. Oily palate. Deasent tripel.

Dark golden colour. Strong herbal aroma. Quite thick and heavy. Overall a bit too sweet and has a strange herbal edge.

Bottle. Dark amber with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, yeast, hops and orange peel. Flavour is malt, fruit, yeast, hops, medium sweet, little orange peel, little bitter with notes of alcohol.

Trocken alkoholischer und hefiger Beginn. Etwas herb, gering blumig. Trocken bleibend, zum Ende bitterer. Getreidig, dann malziger. Nichts Besonderes. 7/10/10/8/7/9

33 cl. bottle @ home. hazy orange golden with a white head. Some sedimentary yeast also pours into the glass. Sweet, yeasty aroma. Some vanilla in the taste. slighty sour in taste. Initialy nothing special but after a while the taste becomes way better.
