300ml bottle. Cloudy dark orange brown with small white head. Complex aroma: fresh bread, fusty moistly straw basis, strawberry overtones. Taste starts fruity, then a dry hop bitterness comes in, laying down on everthing else. For a short time a fresh fruityness procures space until the bitterness rules again, leaving only a dry aftertaste on tongue. High IBUs make it interesting.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, small and stable off-white foamy layer, honey, grains, fruits and alcohol in the nose; sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; increasing tartness and bitterness in the sweet-alcoholic finish. Not my cup of tea...

On tap at In De Wildeman. Pours a hazy, bright orange with a creamy, white head. Nose is sweet, earthy, chalk, some fruit and a distinct minerality. Flavor is sweet, yeasty, dried pineapple, fruity, a little sugar. Full bodied finish.

Bottle 33cl, bought in Bodegraven, Holland.

Slightly hazy yellow golden color. Average smell, pretty standard for a tripel. Taste is very good however, not too much malts, little hops. Very well balanced.

Bit unclear warm golden colour, small white head. Aroma of malts, straw, coriander seeds, some apple and a bit of sweet acetone (but not in an offending way). Flavour of rounded malts (three grains it says on the bottle), good hoppy keynote, spicy, but no real noticeable coriander. Think I prefer it that way. Good tripel character, well rounded, balanced. Medium to long finish with sweet malts and a good hop tone. Well made beer, nice one. Cheers for Jopen and the Proefbrouwerij. (from 33cL bottle)
