Son goût est remarquable, léger et conjugué avantageusement sur un ton à la fois modestement sucré et fruité, laissant en bouche une impression rafraîchissante comme on en redemande.

Clear chestnut brown colour, small frothy beige head, mostly lasting, good lacing. Aroma is malt, nutty, brown sugar, dark fruits, bit barnyard. Taste is light heavy to medium sweet, slightly bitter, malty, syrup fruitiness. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste light bittersweet with light sour twist, light spicy/herbal notes. Kinda crossover from saison to sour brown, very refreshing.

Bottle at home, 09/09/16. Bought from Savieur Biere (spelling??). Slight yeasty\boozy aroma. Treacle toffee brown. Some whisps of head. Sweet. Yeasty. Sugary. Raisens. Medium bodied. Slightly carbonated. Sour finish - pleasant mouthfeel, tingles on the tongue. I like it but slightly torn - is it a tad too sweet/sickly. Reminds me of Finnish kotikalja, a homemade non alcoholic malt drink.

From bottle at Cardinal with BHK 22.12.15. Clear copper. Beige head and lacing. Moderate, but sweet aroma, with some berries and caramel. Simlar, and even sweeter taste, with syrup and sweet strawberrry jam. Moderate bitterness, berries, sweet malt and toffee lingering on.

Dark red colored, medium creamy beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is sweet candy fruity caramel, some herbal notes and a bit of cardboard. Taste is medium sweet candy caramel, sugar, fruits, bit toasty, some cardboard and bit herbal, low bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Not really a Saison... or that nice.

At horecabeurs 2015. Pours clear brown/amber. No real head. Smell is sweet and caramelly. Taste is sharp, bitter and caramel. OK, yet very simple. I’m looking at the bottle, completely puzzled why anyone would think of this as a saison ????

Bottle picked up at Tres Bonne Cuisine, pours a light chestnut color with a thin wavering head. Nose is sweet, akin to a sour red/brown ale, and a little dusty. Malty sweet taste and lighter yeast notes, Faintly sour, but mostly sweet, a little dark fruit shows up. Carbonation level is spot-on. Refreshing and different from the mainstream saisons, sort of like a saison with a little bit of flanders mixed in.
