Experimental question: can we scare the hell out of IBU-craving hipsters by exchanging hops for coffee beans? The answer is this beautifully balanced coffee bock, slightly roasted with a deep rich taste of Munich malt and hints of chocolate and sweet malty caramel.

Dark brown with quick fading head. Aroma has roasted coffee. Flavour is a little sweeter with some raisins and sweet coffee.

Fles 33cl thuis. Koffiedrab, caramel, wat rood fruit, chocolade, licht droog, roasted malts, rogge, niet zo zoet. Prima. (3-4-2020).

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roasty coffee and raisin in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly flavor with coffee. Almost full bodied. Decent enough.

Flesje gedronken tijdens bierproeverij in Tilburg. Donkerbruin bier met matig schuim. Aroma van koffie. Smaak is zoet en koffieachtig. Weinig nasmaak.

Fles gedeelt met Roelzie1986. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een volle crèmekleurige schuimkraag. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur met tonen van koffie. De smaak is gebrand moutig en zoet. Met tonen van koffie en chocolade.

Bottle @ Van Moll brew pub. Brown color, red to red-brown glare. Small head that's gone quickly. Aroma is malts, dark malts, earthy coffee. Flavor is malts, again a bit earthy coffee, decently bitter, brown malts. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Decent.
