Once a year we receive the latest crop of hops from the US, intensely aromatic and bursting with potential they’re begging to be put to work. With three times the quantity of hops of our explosive IPA ‘Cannonball’ and even more than our flagship Double IPA ‘Human Cannonball’ we’ve created a fitting tribute to the new hop release with this our annual homage to the hop. ‘Un-Human Cannonball ‘takes IPA to another dimension-balancing massive citric aroma, deep tropical fruit flavour and gravity defying drinkability to deliver a hop experience that is out of this world. We’ve done our best for the hops, don’t let them down by ageing this beer: please drink as soon as Un-Humanly possible!

0,5l can at Powys, shared by Sander. BB 21.11.2018. orange very hazy color, small white head. smells earthy, candy, grassy, spices, peppery. very heavy smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, grassy, citric, pines, peppery, spices, bit boozy. finishes medium bitter with notes of grass, citrus and piney notes. Smell was not very convincing but taste is quite nice, overall quite nice but also quite heavy, Just decent, not the kind of IPA I like.

50cl Can, thanks Harmen! Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of loads of hops, quite sharp, spruce, lots of citrus, grapefruit, some tropical fruits, resin. Flavour is sweet, light malty, citrusy, pine, spruce, grapefruit, firm bitterness. Medium bodied. Heavy stuff.

Off white rocky head left a cover on a hazy reddish orange still body. Pine, resin, overstewed fruit & prune aroma. Medium to full bodied, soft on the palate & clean on the finish. Taste is as the aroma with resin, pine, grapefruit, bitter citrus & under ripe stone fruit.

Can @Luppolo Station in Rome. Cloudy light amber pour, medium off white foam. Nose: amberish alcohol maltiness, alcohol overall maltiness. Mouth: warm, dunk, embracing.

Can shared @Luppolo Station (Rome). Gialla viva, appena torbida, schiuma bianca media persistente. Al naso note di mango, passionfruit e citriche, leggero pompelmo, leggera resina. In bocca è magnificamente equilibrata, base di malto presente ma non invadente, amaro finale lungo e persistente, anche abbastanza secca a dispetto delle attese, gli 11 gradi dichiarati non si sentono assolutamente. Corpo pieno, carbonazione media. Davvero ottima!

Orange-amber, hazy body, with a medium, fluffy, yellowish head.
Aroma of lychee, grapefruit, pineapple, melon, orange, some biscuit, subtle alcohol.
Tastes quite similar, with more biscuit, a bit more alcohol.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes warm, bitter, zesty, a bit herbal, a bit sweet, fruity, with grapefruit, melon, some tropical fruits, some biscuit.
Very nice. Quite heavy and a bit alcoholic, while still good to drink. Nice, diverse fruit notes throughout, with a smooth, biscuity malt body. Not outstanding maybe, I prefer it less heavy, but characterful stuff nonetheless.
