Tap at In De Wildeman. Very dark ruby color, medium-sized creamy beige head, lace. Aroma has caramel, coffee and hp sauce. Medium-bodied. Licorice, caramel and light bready notes. Not much bitterness. A bit watery for its abv even.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus, Culemborg. Dark brown with a big beige head. Roasted malts aroma with some coffee. Taste is semi-sweet and lightly bitter. Tasty porter.

Bottle 330ml. [ As De Vriendschap NDSM Porter ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, sweet malt, light burnt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, sweet malt, roasted, bread - rye bread. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150117]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and roasted malt. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 170115

Bottle, 6%. Dark brown/red with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, bread and a little chocolate. FLavour is malt, caramel, bread, chocolate, medium sweet, hop and a little bitter.

zwart met minimale witte kraag. Aroma van mout, chocolade, koffie. Smaken matig zoet, zwak bitter, matig moutig, licht kruidig, medium body, maar wat is dit spul enorm dun laten we gewoon maar zeggen waterig... zit wel wat glads in qua textuur...lichte koffie... lage co2, zwak bittertje maar erg licht allemaal en ook nog wat droog in de mond....

More or less a flat pour with no head. Burnt, toasty, malty aroma. Pleasant roasty, bitter malt flavour. Full flavoured, smooth, easy to drink.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 22 Aug 2014) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark bread and dark chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, dark bread, coffee and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and tasty porter. Nice one.

Post Borefts Tasting, Tulip Hotel Room 118. Lightly hazy deep red - amber beer. A few pale cream colour bubbles. Airy dry palate. Light dry malt cream. Little toffee - caramel and a touch of dried fruits. Light dry finish. Not much dark malt character but passable,

Bottle from Benzai, many thanks. Very dark brown color with medium beige head. Dark malts, sweet syrup, raisins, red fruits in aroma. Taste, sweet dark malt, caramel, plums, coffee. Coffee biter finish. Well balanced beer.
