Very dark brown with almost no head. Some licorice and herbs, light roasted hazelnuts and some weak coffee. Light bitter with a hint of sweetness. Medium to light bodied with watery feel and light carbonation. Drinkable bit quite watery and thin tasting.

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 06 2015, large sample, served in a snifter. Clear dark brown color with a reddish glow, short frothy off-white head. Aroma of some coffee, bit roast, some red fruit, lots of dark bread, hint of blackcurrant, grainy malt. Medium sweet in taste, slight bitterness. Nicely balanced, easy to drink. Soft carbonation, thin body. Like liquid dark bread, but never cloying or heavy. Reminds me of a Dutch bock as well, but without the sweetness and much more focussed on the malt.
