Behold! The fifth collaborative effort of Three Floyds and Mikkeller. This complex ale is just the beverage for canal boat trips in Copenhagen or the brutal Chicago winter. This year’s offering will be brewed in both Europe and in Chicago. Look for both editions and the subtle differences in each. Cheers and thanks for supporting craft beer.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy orangy color. Aroma is slightly sweet dusty, sawdust, old citrus peel, alcohol, bark, herbs, weeds, hay, fruit stones, leafs, minerals. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, bark, minerals, alcohol, grass, sawdust, old citrus peel, herbs, paper, fruit stones. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh boozy mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.

On tap at Beer Temple. A bit hazy orange with a medium white head. Sweet with apricot, malt, toffee and warming alcohol. The body was full.

Keg at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Amber pour with a white head. Toffee, apricot, caramel and vanilla aroma. Flavours of Caramel, toffee, tons of booze, tangerine, apricot. Rich, warming finish. Nice.
