Sampled @ KBF 2016, Essen. Nice red-brown color, average sized beige to light brown head. Smell and taste malts, light roast, brown malt bitter, something else in there as well. Not sure what it is but it definitively an influence. Wood / something barrel aged seems to make sense. Not bad.
