The first Lithuanian beer, brewed since 1995, which has received international recognition along with a number of top awards. Bright gold in colour and with a thick foam on the glass Ekstra has gained its wide popularity for its balanced flavour which is enlivened with slight bitterness of hops. Once introduced, Švyturio Ekstra has become the most popular draft beer in Lithuanian restaurants and pubs as it is delivered to bars unpasteurized or live.

Klar lys gylden med hvitt skum. Aroma malt gress. Smak malt muligens korn/ brød. Kjedelig øl, noe sødme, tamt. Flaske delt av DjOeye, smakt Feb -15

Smell- weak, almost nonexistent. Foam- thin, some hops, bitter notes. Head is medium to large, white color does not seem sticky but does stick at sides a bit. Appearance- clear yellow amber, little to no carbonation. Taste- bittersweet, some malt and hops, the sweetness is a bit weird, but not unpleasant. Drinkable.

Pours amber with a thick white head. Aroma of floral malt. Taste has malty body with a thick yeast note that pairs well with spices. Palate has typical Helles notes, well made. Good.

Bottle. Blonde, frothy head. Vegetable-like aroma. Medecinal bitter flavor with vegetable notes. Unpleasant but luckily short aftertaste. Not recommended.

Bottle from Dutch Balkan supermarket. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Malt, hop, fresh. Taste: Combination of moderate sweet malt and moderate hopbitterness. Pretty nice, compared with a lot of other lagers from this region. Just under medium body, average carbonation. Ok.
