bottle from ølbutikken i think. clear orange, smooth brown-orange head. delicate aroma of malts and fruits. Really nice aroma. Flavor is malty, wood, booze, a little bit of a taste like oranges, in fact quite a lot of bitter woody notes, much better than my expectations, tastes sort of like a really sophisticated european style barley wine. one of the better vintages, i might buy one more and see how it ages.

Cask at KØ14. Fruity aroma. Cloudy red amber colour. No head. The flavour is sweet and fruity. Has a little dried fruit. Very low carbonation. 7 3 7 3 14
Bottle, 8.5%. Fruity aroma, sweet malt syrup notes. Hint of floral aroma hop. Cloudy copper colour. Small stable off-white head. The flavour is sweet and caramelly. It has a little brown sugar and a good floral hop flavour. Vanilla notes in the finish. Mild and soft carbonation. Not boozy, actually quite well-balanced. 8 3 8 4 17

50cl bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - copper with steady bubbles and a nice head. Nose - sultanas and prunes, even something almond on the end. Dundee Cake. Taste - crystalised oranges and more cake, Palate - medium to full bodied with a creamy texture and a long elegant finish. Overall - a really well made ale. Power with restraint!

Bottle 81329 from the brewery online shop. Clear amber, thin long-lasting white head. Aromas of fresh fruit-cake, if that makes sense, orange, marmalade, slightly chalky note. Mineral repeats on the taste, with more cake and orange sweetness. Caramel. Just a well-made English Strong Ale.

Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of light caramelized malt with light cereal notes and subtle residual sugar notes is very interesting. Taste is also dominated by lightly caramelized malt with some light residual sugar notes and some cereal notes. Body is about full for style with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Easily drinkable with great mastering of malt profile with limited hops presence. I did prefer this version than the 2012 version.

50cl bottle, Alko. Nr #029223. Deep mahogany color, thin white head. Honey sweetness, marmelade and ripe fruits in aroma. Marmelade in flavor as well, raisins, plums. Very smooth, warming finish. Not very complex, but I like the smoothness, enjoyable to drink.
