Hopfiger Geruch, unverkennbar nach amerikanischem Hopfen, daneben leicht holzig. Hopfig-herber Antrunk in vollmundigem Zusammenhalt, mittelintensiv, angenehm aromatisch. Schnell abflachend. 11/8/7/8//7

Bottle shared with Elena and Gloria in Amsterdam. Pours lightly hazy, rich, red-gold with a strong, white head. Hops on the nose, grapefruit, pineapple, some honey. Pretty sweet flavor, lots of hop character, crispy toast malts, more grapefruit, pineapple, pine tree. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean, semi-sticky hop finish, mild caramel, pine and citrus rind linger. Great beer, smooth drinker. (3.9) Bottle at the East Croydon Beer Tasting, October 2011, thanks to Rene. Spicy nose, orange, faint anise. Medium sweet flavor, good balance, plenty of citrus, some citrus pith, bubblegum. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Clean finish, some sugar, citrus, faint grass and pith, melon big time, some more bubblegum. (3.9)

Light amber, firm, rather well lasting, off-white foam head consisting of fine small bubles. Fruity aroma. Grapefruit, grape, some dried apricot. Fragrant lime (linde) blossom (lindebloesem). All the best of the amarillo hops. Full taste. Some hop bitterness. Malt sweetness. Again the grapefruit, together with candied orange peel. No sence of lack of alcohol, even though it has a relatively low ABV. Dry lingering aftertaste, astringent, the bitterness of the hops comes through in full strenght after a while. Really refreshing and nice beer. (from 33cL bottle)

Draught at the brewery. Orange-amber color with a tight, high, head. Nice aroma of grapefruit, pineapple. Very dry and bitter flavor. grapefruit zest dominates. really hoppy, with no residual sugar, making it really dry as well. Dry fruitiness tries to balance, but can’t quite do it. Slightly harsh finish. Very clean and dry--I would prefer a bit more sweetness.

100ml draught at Københavnske Øldage. Unclear amber body colour. Shining surface. Fragile lacework. Refreshing and inviting aroma of hoppy fruits. Flavour was filled with the medium tartness of citric fruits added by caramel malts. Soft bitter ending. Fine drinkability, a bit thin though Typical session beer (Carlsberg Tap 1, 06.05.2010).
