A reddish amber bitter, malty but with refreshing hoppy high notes on the taste. RIP Snorter is brewed with the finest English pale malt combined with some crystal malt and a touch of chocolate malt. Then we add a combination of local Fuggles and Golding hops at three stages during the copper boil.

Bottled 500ml (KSM Kampus)
Ruby-copper colour, small beige head. Nutty, caramalt, English hop nose. Light-bodied. Caramelly and nutty flavour. Even fruitcake. Quite sweet bitter. Some spicey hops in the finish. Ok.

Bottle from the brewery. Vague malty aroma with some floral and cardboard. Medium chestnut. Thin bubbly off-white head. Initial sweet edged maltynes before some light bitterness creeps in. There is some honey caramel but it's really all about the malt. More obviously hoppy into the finish but always very polite about it. Light-mesium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long smooth finish. Pleasant enough and certainly drinkable. Not what a BrewDog bartender would describe as 'complex'.

Bottle: Clear, dark copper with a short, off-white head. Toffee, slightly perfume-y toffee aroma. Taste is light and sweet toffee malt, a touch of leafy, herbal bittering. On the verge of being a little watery, but pretty nice.
