A reddish amber bitter, malty but with refreshing hoppy high notes on the taste. RIP Snorter is brewed with the finest English pale malt combined with some crystal malt and a touch of chocolate malt. Then we add a combination of local Fuggles and Golding hops at three stages during the copper boil.

Bottle shared at the Night of Garbage. Pours clear amber with a frothy off-white head. Aged fruits in the nose, brown bread, berries. Light sweet flavor with faintly dried berries, toasty brown bread, light leafy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, simple dried fruits, toasty brown bread. Simple but I like it.

50cl bottle from the Brewery shop. Deep amber with tight white head; malty aroma with a hint of spice; rich and malty toffee taste, with lots of depth from the crystal and chocolate malts; and some lively hops adding a pleasant bitterness to the finish. Good stuff.

Cask handpull at Shakespeare Head, JDW, London. Chestnut colour, thin beige head. OK. Strong bitter, bit of nuttiness. Bit of syrup malt. Some hop presence on finish.

Cask at Baker Street, WโSpoons, London. Ruby coloured pour with slight head. Fruity, malty, antique aroma. Malty, fruity, old fashioned taste that reminds me of an antique shop. Quite pleasant warming winter ale.

Cask (handpump) @ The Mitre, W2 London. Amber / red color with a small white head. Aroma is malty, frutty (rips ?). Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration and some notes of bittersnes in the finish.
