11.2 ounce bottle. Not sure where I got this one. Pours a hazy muddle brown color with a few particles. Medium head, decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of raisins, toffee and a slight chemical smell. The taste is figs, dates and other fruits, candi sugar, toffee and a slightly burnt finish. Medium bodied. 6/5/10

Bottle. Brownish with a large tan head. Aroma of yeast, dark fruits, honey and sugar. A lot of carbonation, the finish had a lot of warming alcohol. Otherwise, I felt dried fruit, some chocolate and nuts. Ok but a little watery.

Pours a dirty brown with chunks and floaters. Angry head settles somewhat, but never calms completely. Aroma of dirt and mud, but in a good way. Full mouthfeel, flavor is slightly sweet, slightly spiced, and evolves slowly. Subtle finish. Great example of an abbey style dubbel.

Bottle at ’t Brugs Beertje. Pours dark hazy amber with a foamy beige head. Unusual dusty, smoky aroma. Medium body with very foamy carbonation. Flavor is roasted caramel and spices (coriander?), peach/apricot, hop bitter - could be grassy hop. Nice bitter beer.

Bottle. A hazy, orange-brown beer with a small, creamy, beige topping. Dried fruits, a touch of oxidation, sugar and some alcohol in the aroma. The flavor is more on the sugary side, with the same dried fruits, oxidation and alcohol found in the aroma. Dryish, warming and sweetish mouthfeel, finishing sweet and fruity. A decent beer, but fails to get me excited. (090213)

[33cl bottle] Hazy, dark amber colour with a big but not very persisting tanned foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with strong spicy elements of mainly coriander and a restrained fruity note. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toast-malty, quite spicy taste, rounded up with caramel and faint raisin-fruity notes. Strong malty and spicy finish with present alcohol. Likeable but not perfectly harmonic brew [11.I.09].

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a lacing off-white head. Fruity, light yeasty and caramel aroma. Flavour is spiced and fruity, light wineous towards aged and woody feel. Spiced flavour into the finish, swept in a dense malty flavour. Slight alcohol burning finish.

Bottle: Poured a murky orange brown with a off white head. Sweet fruit, nuts and malts, with just a hint of caramel comes in a mixed aroma. Flavor is smokey with sweet burnt caramel malt. The finish has that dry hoppy/fruit to it.
