Australian Pale Ale. Inspired by cricket's oldest rivalry, Sticky Wicket pitches together English and Australian ingredients in a tropical, refreshing pale ale. With grapefruit and lychee notes racing through the covers of a biscuity malt base, you’ll be stumped to find a better brew for the beer garden…

(Cask at St. Urho’s Pub, 20130814) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized, long lasting and white. Aroma had toffee, strawberry and sweet English hops. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, toffee, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste hadd toffee, grass and bitterness. The beer hadn’t probably reached its best spot yet because it tasted a little bit harsh. Good clean English beer.

Cask at Bull in Soning, 8th August 2013, another sunny lunchtime pint. This is a very easy drinking ale, nice for a sunny afternoon, but it reminded me of baby of the other Fullers range, nothing special

On cask at Christian Firtal. Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, pear and light malt. Dry and fruity flavour with grapefrit and pear, malty notes of white bread, and a very bitter, hoppy finish. Quite unlike anything Fullers and a world class example of golden ale at its best.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A hazy golden beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma has notes of hops, malt, and minetals. The flavor is sweet with notes of wet hay, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Generic light brown. Not much aroma, a bit of biscuity malt. Taste is very nice, good malt/hop balance. However the ABV is too high for the sort of beer it is, and this results in an astringent aftertaste.
