Similar to Newcastle Brown Ale the Bier has a malty character with slight caramel and chocolate flavours.
The mix of nobal hops gives rise to a well balanced bitterness with fruity spice character and slight floral aroma. The twist, the traditional brewed ale is then lagered for two months to produce a very smooth, well attenuated finish to the German ale.

Cask @ The Market porter, London. Clear dark amber / brown color, small off-white head. Smells musty, hints of sour, not very nice. Taste bitter, dark malts. Low carbo, low body.
