Aroma and flavour have some spicy, yeasty notes. Itβs a bit on the sweet side and lacking in depth.

30cl Bottle from AH. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of fruit acids, tiny hint of lemon, sweet malts, Leffe Blonde. Flavour is sweet, spicy, yeasty, light tartness, fruity, light bitter finish. Light bodied. Boring Belgian Blond Ale, nothing more. As far from a saison as could possibly be.

30 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus Tiel. Clear golden yellow with a white head. Sweet grainy aroma with a hint of yeast. Taste is sweet. Pretty unremarkable but not unpleasant beer but why this would be a saison I donβt know. It misses the typical aroma, taste and dryness.

Bottle shared. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is mineral aspirin citrus. The flavour is grainy citrus with a light smooth refreshing yeast mineral palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.

First smells like a wheat beer, then some herb notes. Clear gold, almost no head. Light sweet and a little sourish. Light to medium body, average carbonation, a little dry finish.

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of sweet yeast ester and grainy malt, not a good start. Taste is sweet, with mild pepper, sweet yeast and some grassy notes. Lacks dryness and funk. Letdown.

Bottle at Fijn. Clear golden with small white head. Sweet malts, cloves, banana, light white pepper, quite grainy with even some dough, crackers, light herbs. Medium sweet and very light bitter. Medium bodied with fine fizzy carbonation. Decent beer but has a lot of typical Belgian yeast notes instead of specific saison notes.

Way too sweet, not spicy enough. More of a blonde than a saison. A bit refreshing, but disappointing.
